Being the centre of attention on your special day can be overwhelming.
Personally you would rather just have a small intimate celebration with a small group of family and friends whom you feel a deep connection with… Minus the meaningless tradition.
Well, who says that your wedding or social event has to be how others want it to be? After all, it’s your special day and you don’t have to feel guilty for planning the day the way you know will make you happy.
So even if it’s a small, intimate event or one attended by 150 guests, I can help you personalise your flowers so that the mood and style of the day reflect you and your personality. And if you prefer the flowers to be the centre of attention, that’s fine with me too.
But really, whatever you decide, I’d love to work with you to make it a day which you approach with joy (not dread!). A day you’ll enjoy with the ones dearest to you and remember fondly for years to come.
Just share with us your vision for the day and we’ll take care of the florals!
WEDDING AND EVENT FLOWERS IN SYDNEY, BLUE MOUNTAINS AND LOWER CENTRAL COAST
Hi, I’m Gwyneth, the creative behind Flowers by Gwyneth.
I help busy professional women personalise their wedding or social event with contemporary nature-inspired florals so they can create memories with the people who matter most.
From concept to creation, I work with you with open communication. So, no hidden costs, no surprises. And please, always feel free to ask questions.
Because I want your experience with us to be stress free, and the flowers on the day, perfect for you.
Armed with a Certificate IV in Floristry, I’m a fully qualified floral designer with the skills and experience to design original arrangements. It also means I know how to make your arrangements look beautiful as long as possible.
Moreover, receiving the 2015 Award for Highest Achievement at Sydney TAFE NSW has spurred me on to pursue the world of floral craftsmanship relentlessly.
Yup, I’m passionate about florals and learning new techniques, particularly ones that promote sustainability. That way I can always deliver original eco-friendly designs and provide a high-quality experience for you.
For instance I’m currently a student of Sogetsu Ikebana, a contemporary approach to the Japanese art of floral arrangement.
Moreover through my involvement with Sogetsu Ikebana NSW, I’ve had the opportunity to exhibit at The Calyx at The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, and The Japan Foundation in Sydney.
The elegance of ikebana flower arrangements is understated. If you appreciate the subtle beauty of flowers and natural material, you’ll enjoy the ikebana floral style.
