This page outlines the general terms of service for floral design bookings with Flowers by Gwyneth. For weddings and events, detailed terms will be provided directly as part of your booking documents.

What You Can Expect

Flowers by Gwyneth is committed to providing thoughtful, artistic floral design that reflects your vision, is grounded in seasonal availability, and is tailored to your event or space. Every design is bespoke, and we take great care in sourcing fresh materials and ensuring a seamless setup on the day.

Booking & Payment

To confirm your booking, a non-refundable booking fee and signed agreement are required. This secures your event date and allows us to begin planning and sourcing materials.

The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before your event date. For bookings made within 30 days (“rush bookings”), full payment is required at the time of confirmation. Confirmation is typically defined as written acceptance of the quote or agreement and/or issuance of an invoice.

Please note that for rush bookings, there may be limited flexibility in design or flower selection due to time and seasonal availability.

We accept payment via bank transfer or credit card via secure third-party platforms such as Square or Stripe. 

Changes & Cancellations

We understand that plans sometimes shift. If you need to make changes to your booking, please let us know as early as possible — ideally no later than four weeks before your event.

  • Cancellations more than 30 days out may be eligible for a partial refund of any amount paid beyond the booking fee.
  • Cancellations within 30 days are generally non-refundable, due to time and resource commitments already made on your behalf.

To request a cancellation or discuss changes, please contact us in writing via email or our enquiry form.

Seasonal Flexibility & Substitutions

All floral designs are guided by seasonal and market-fresh availability. While we’ll do our best to reflect your preferences, substitutions may be made when specific flowers or materials are unavailable.

Rush bookings or late changes may further limit flexibility, but we’ll always ensure your designs remain cohesive and considered.

Delivery & Setup

We will coordinate directly with your venue and/or planner to ensure a smooth setup on the day. If personal flowers (such as bouquets or buttonholes) are to be delivered separately, we’ll arrange the delivery time and location with you in advance.

Please share any bump-in or bump-out requirements with us as early as possible so we can plan accordingly.

For private floral deliveries (e.g. gift bouquets):

  • If no one is home, we’ll leave the flowers in a safe, weather-protected location at the delivery address.

  • If redelivery is required due to access issues or incorrect delivery details, additional charges may apply.

Gift Bouquets (By Request)

From time to time, we may create bespoke gift bouquets upon special request. These are fully customised and subject to seasonal flower availability and delivery feasibility.

As with all floral work, gift bouquets are final sale and non-refundable once prepared. If you’re not happy with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we’ll do our best to resolve any concerns.

Delivery is available within select Sydney areas and may incur an additional fee. Pick-up is not available.
